Visualize your trading results
When you have your parsed statements, the extracted data can be visualized. Since the data is multidimensional, there is a possibility to create many different visual representations. There are different charting options: account balance, trading profits, margin and fees. On top of that, our charting tools provide you with the possibility to select the time frame and desired currency.
Plot your account balance
This is the number you see most often and it is usually the main representation of the trading account. There is the possibility to change the time frame or to select a different currency if there is a need.
Trading Analyser currently supports conversion between any of these currencies:
Visualize trading profits
Trading profit is the most important statistic. The charting tools can view this in different ways. You can select to see nominal PnL or calculated as percentage (if your real assets differ from the account balance you can add or remove funds in the menu field "Funds information"). There is also a choice between accumulating your profits and just visualizing the daily gains or losses.
Check your margin requirements
Another important statistic to keep track of is the margin. Surely no trader wants to see an unexpected margin call. The charting tools offer a way to visualize margin either by nominal values or by a ratio to account balance (again if your real assets differ from the account balance you can add or remove funds in the menu field "Funds information"). Margin to equity ratio is one of the most popular risk metrics in futures trading.
Check the fees
The fees charged either by the broker or by the exchange can have a huge effect on the trading profits if you trade frequently. This is very important in automated trading. The charting tools allow the user to check the fees taken from his or her account daily, categorizing by groups. There are also possibilities to check the effect of the fees on the trading profits or simply to plot the cumulative sum of the fees.
